Our Home, Their Home Away From Home

At Paws Dog Camp, boarding looks a little different.

Rather than staying in a traditional kennel or boarding facility, dogs stay in a real home environment with us. Boarding is personally provided by Paws Dog Camp owners Trina and Omie, giving dogs a comfortable, familiar place to stay while their families are away.

Most importantly, someone is always home with our boarding pups. Dogs are never left unattended while staying with us.

Dogs sleep indoors in our homes and become part of the household during their stay. They also have access to large, securely fenced backyards where they can enjoy outdoor time, play and relaxation.

Boarding rate: $110 per night

Boarding Requirements

For dogs that are not already established Paws Dog Camp dogs, a test night may be required before a longer boarding stay. This gives the dog an opportunity to become comfortable with us and allows us to make sure our home boarding environment is a good fit.

  • All dogs must be spayed or neutered.
  • All dogs must be up-to-date on required vaccinations.

What to Bring

Families are responsible for providing their dog's regular food and snacks for the entire stay, along with any medications and special care instructions.

Paws provides beds, blankets and bowls, so families do not need to pack those unless their dog has something special they would prefer them to have.

Veterinary Care & Emergencies

Your dog's health and safety come first.

If a medical concern arises during a dog's stay, we will contact the owner and, when appropriate, can take the dog to their regular local veterinarian.

In an emergency, we will seek care at the closest appropriate veterinary facility rather than delay treatment.

We recommend providing your veterinarian's contact information along with any important medical information before your dog's stay.

Familiar Faces, Happy Stays

Their favorite routine, even while you’re away

Boarding for Paws Dog Camp Clients

One of the biggest benefits for our regular Paws Dog Camp dogs is that their routine does not have to stop just because their family is away.

During the week, boarding dogs can participate in their regular Paws Dog Camp ranch/day-camp activities.

Weekday pickup and drop-off are handled through the regular Paws Dog Camp service. Weekend and holiday pickup/drop-off can be arranged at the boarding home.

Our goal is to provide a safe, comfortable home environment where dogs can settle in, have fun and receive plenty of individual attention throughout their stay.

  • 24/7 supervision – dogs are never left unattended
  • Indoor sleeping accommodations in our homes
  • Large, securely fenced backyards
  • Outdoor playtime and relaxation
  • Separate areas for meals and snacks
  • Beds, blankets and bowls provided by Paws
  • Regular pictures and videos sent to families
  • Plenty of attention, companionship and interaction
  • Paws Dog Camp activities during the week for eligible Camp dogs
To help keep everyone safe and comfortable, meals and snacks are given separately.

Boarding-Only Services

You do not have to live within our regular Paws Dog Camp service area to board with us.

Trina and Omie each offer additional boarding-only services from their homes for families in surrounding communities.

Boarding-only dogs cannot attend Paws Dog Camp on a regular basis because they are outside the regular Camp pickup area. However, while boarding with us, they can enjoy the Paws Camp lifestyle during their stay.

A happy blue heeler dog with a blue collar sits on a pile of wood chips, tongue out, in front of a scenic background near San Mateo—perfect for dog walking or visiting your favorite dog daycare under the clear blue sky.
