Getting started is as simple as reaching out. Let’s talk about how we can make your dog’s days absolutely amazing.
The first step is scheduling a free 30-minute in-home consultation where we get to meet your dog and learn all about their unique personality, needs, and routines. During this visit, we'll discuss our services, answer your questions, and make sure we're a perfect fit for your pup.
We operate on a membership model that requires a minimum of 8 visits per month. This ensures your dog settles into our group, builds strong social bonds, and feels confident in our ranch environment. Your membership guarantees your spot and allows us to maintain safe group sizes with proper staffing.
We operate Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5 PM. We pick up your pup between 8:00-11:00 AM and drop them off between 1:30-4:00 PM. Times are approximate and we work with your schedule during the consultation.
For ranch adventures, we serve San Bruno, Millbrae, Burlingame, Hillsborough, San Mateo, Foster City, Belmont, Redwood Shores, San Carlos, Redwood City, Woodside, Atherton, Menlo Park, and Half Moon Bay. For boarding, we extend service along the peninsula from San Bruno to San Jose, plus Livermore area and Santa Cruz area.
Your dog enjoys approximately two hours of supervised off-leash play at our fully fenced outdoor ranch in Half Moon Bay. They have access to fresh water, shade, toys, and plenty of interaction with our caring staff. We're hands-on and actively play with the dogs to ensure they have a fun, stimulating experience.
We carefully group dogs based on their size and temperament to create a safe and comfortable environment for all. This personalized approach ensures every dog feels secure and can play at their comfort level.
Yes! Our ranch adventures happen rain or shine, so your dog gets consistent exercise and socialization regardless of the weather. We towel dry and spot brush your dog so they're relatively clean and comfortable when they come home.
For your convenience, we arrange access to your home using either a door code or a secure lockbox. This ensures a seamless experience while keeping everything safe and hassle-free. We use our own leashes, towels, and brushes so you just need to provide a properly fitting collar with tags.
Memberships are billed based on the minimum 8 visits per month. Even if your pup attends fewer visits in a given month, the membership charge remains the same because your spot, staffing, and space are reserved specifically for your dog.
We require 24 hours notice for cancellations, and all cancellations must be made by 8:00 AM the day before the scheduled visit. When proper notice is given, we offer make-up visits within the same calendar month, as long as they're pre-scheduled and space allows. Unused visits don't roll over to future months.
If you need to cancel services completely, we ask for two weeks notice to avoid charges during that period.
Yes! As a thank-you for helping us grow our community, you'll receive one free visit for every referral that signs up for services.
We've been serving the community since 1999 and are fully insured. Our team is CPR certified for dogs, and we prioritize safety in everything we do. We maintain safe group sizes, provide consistent supervision, and our ranch is fully fenced for secure off-leash play.
We love working with dogs who have unique personalities! Whether your pup is high-energy, timid, or has specific dietary or medical needs, we create personalized care plans. We're not formal trainers, but we reinforce good behavior and help shy dogs build confidence through positive pack interactions.
We send notification messages so you're always in the loop. Plus, you'll get those fun photo updates throughout the day so you can see your pup having a blast.
Yes! We offer comfortable in-home boarding in our private homes in Livermore (Omie's) and Scotts Valley (Trina's). Boarding is available 7 days a week by pre-arrangement. For camp members, it's $110 per night for one pup or $200 for two pups, with a $30 holiday fee for major holidays.
Paws Dog Camp began as Trina's childhood dream of working with dogs. Growing up in a dog-loving household, she started with pet sitting and dog outings, building the business organically through genuine care and personal connections with clients and their furry family members.
We're proudly based in San Mateo, serving the Bay Area community. Our central location makes it convenient for families throughout the region.
Absolutely. We carry comprehensive liability insurance to protect both our four-legged clients and their families. Your peace of mind is just as important as your pup's happiness.
Our team members are carefully selected dog lovers who share our passion for exceptional care. Each team member is trained in our safety protocols and approaches, ensuring your pup gets consistent, loving attention from everyone they meet.
You just need to provide a properly fitting collar with tags and any special food or medications your dog needs. We supply all leashes, towels, brushes, and other equipment.
We're closed for regular camp visits on Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and December 24 - January 1 for winter holiday break. Boarding remains available year-round.
Our ranch adventures are priced based on how many days per week your pup joins us:

We also offer in-home boarding at an additional $50 per night per pup.
Remember, we require a minimum of twice-weekly visits to help your dog build those important friendships and feel comfortable in our pack. The more days your pup joins us, the better rate you'll get, and the more fun they'll have with their ranch buddies!
